Sculpture located on the Levante Dock that pays tribute to the women who awaited the return of their sailor relatives.

It's located on the Levante Dike promenade. You can see it during a walk along the dike; as it's outdoors, it's advisable to wear sun protection during the hottest hours.

What you will find
The Monumento a la Mujer del Marinero sculpture commemorates the women depicted in Torrevieja who would see their husbands, fathers, or sons off as they set sail to work at sea. Located on the Levante Dock, the sculpture represents that waiting and forms part of the city's tribute to its maritime tradition. It is a different monument from La Bella Lola, the figure seated on a bench along the Juan Aparicio promenade.
